Dr. Aglaia Kong of LeapFive Technology

Awarded an Honorary Doctorate by Macao Polytechnic University

 

Recently, Macao Polytechnic University celebrated its 2023/2024 graduation ceremony. A highlight of the event was the conferral of an honorary Doctor of Science degree, the highest academic honor the university can bestow, upon Dr. Aglaia Kong, CEO and CTO of LeapFive Technology. This prestigious recognition recognizes her outstanding academic achievements and significant social and educational development contributions.

 

Ao Ieong U, Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture, representing the Chief Executive and Chancellor of MPU, presented the honorary doctorate to Dr. Aglaia Kong.

 

As the visionary leader of LeapFive Technology, Dr. Aglaia Kong has consistently demonstrated her unwavering dedication to driving industrial development through technological innovation. Her commitment has led to significant breakthroughs in various fields, including navigation, storage virtualization, file systems, and artificial intelligence. As well as her other contributions have earned her more than twenty significant inventions and patents. Dr. Kong’s exceptional contributions to the energy and chip sectors have promoted talent recruitment and educational development in Macao and enhanced Macao’s influence in the international technological innovation arena. Under Dr. Kong’s dynamic leadership, LeapFive Technology is poised to continue pushing the boundaries of technology, achieving significant advancements, and positively impacting the industry and society, instilling hope, and optimism for the future.
