LeapFive Technology Presented in ELEXCON & Embedded System Expo
From November 6th to 8th, 2022, ELEXCON & Embedded System Expo continued to break new grounds and achieve new progress at Shenzhen Exhibition & Convention Center. As an annual professional exhibition in the post-pandemic era, ELEXCON 2022 took you to the new blue ocean through four major themed pavilions: Semiconductor & Components Brands Pavilion, Power & Energy Storage Technology Pavilion, Embedded and AIoT Technology Pavilion, and SiP & Micro Assembly Pavilion. LeapFive Technology presented NB2, BF2 series products and many scenario-based solutions to EXELCON 2022 at RISC-V Zone booth 1S52-A, with the theme of “serving the ‘dual-carbon’ green revolution and building the ‘core’ engine of the IIoT.” The core platform and the cutting-edge technology and application of products independently developed by LeapFive Technology have attracted many professional visitors and live broadcast platforms. While exchanging industry technologies, they have in-depth discussions on business cooperation.

Through product demonstrations, solution demonstrations and interactive demonstrations, LeapFive Technology presented its “core” IIoT products to the visitors, including the highly integrated Wi-Fi/BLE chip BF2 and the edge-intelligent high-performance flagship SoC chip NB2, as well as the typical applications of LeapFive Technology’s core products in smart energy, smart logistics, IIoT and other industries.
In this exhibition, we presented our flagship products NB2 chip series, including NB2 core board, NB2 product demos, etc.
The NB2 core board is a high-stability, high-reliability, and low-power core board developed based on NB2 (quad-core 64-bit RISC-V CPU) and build for various IIoT applications.
Smart grid transmission monitoring gateway demo is an edge intelligence gateway application developed based on NB2, which can be oriented to various industrial-level edge intelligence scenarios such as power grids. The transmission monitoring gateway mainly focuses on the monitoring of complex areas of the transmission network. It can sense and identify the transmission power line environment, as well as detect emergency, such as wildfires, icing, foreign objects, tower cranes, etc., and interact with the main station. The gateway is developed based on the NB2 core board and cooperates with the expansion backplane to build a power edge intelligent platform, which can support the needs of sensor data aggregation, processing, reporting, interaction, etc., especially with functions such as image acquisition, AI edge computing, and real-time backhaul. The gateway also meets the IP67 protection level, which can adapt to the harsh industrial-grade outdoor application environment.
